![]() I don't think we want Network - we've always done SN, but the Autodesk ID is intriguing because we have the same number of employees and licensed seats, but everyone likes to install on their home machine so they can work at home (under the "home license"), but someone always messes their install up and then we end up running out of activations and have to call ADESK and it can be a drag. ![]() I could use ID because I use a bunch of different computers, and others could just use the SN? Is there any way to have a mix of ID and SN (even if it's two separate deployments). In an ideal world, I could log in on my work computer, it would remember that until I logged in on a different computer, at which point it would revoke the authorization for the previous computer.ĭoes "serial number" still work as it always has? In the past, AFAIK, we've gotten two activations for each license - one for work, and one for home. how does the Autodesk ID thing work? Do you have to log in every single time you start up Revit or can it "remember" for next time? 90% of the time we're all just using our work computers, so logging in 2 - 3 times a day sounds like a drag. (btw, we've always been on "stand-alone" licenses): ![]() I haven't noticed this from previous versions, but I'm setting up a new 2017 deployment and for "License Access", there are three choices.
